Meta Quest 3 won't automatically connect to LAN without Internet Access

Hi everyone,

I have a tp-link router without internet access to which I connect my Quest 3 without problems. However, when the device goes into Stand-by or I turn it off and on again, the connection is not performed automatically, in fact even when accessing the WiFi the message "Will not reconnect automatically" remains.

what should I do to solve this problem? I need the router to remain without internet and when I start the Quest, it connects to my wifi.
The router is a WiFi 4 with 2.4ghz

Hi,

i've tried both solutons: changing the MAC address or the Wifi, but still doesn't work. But i found another solution that I've also posted here:

For the moment works, but I'm developing an Android app to connect to a specific WiFi on device boot.

Hey there @goldvrmeta

You could try to connect the headset to 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz to see if that works.

If it doesn't, here's a reddit thread that seems to have found a possible solution to your issue -> Reddit Solution

Hope this helps! 🐢
