Meta Quest 3S Stuck on Intital Setup

Hi all, 

Got a new Quest 3S and cannot get past the initial setup/update screen

On the headset I see "applying software update" and it keeps resetting back to this same screen

On my app I keep getting a popup to setup the headset, if I click it says the headset is currently updating and to explore the app in the meantime.

 

It's been 6 hours and still nothing...

Any help? I saw similar posts for the Quest 3 but those were earlier in the year, nothing recent for the Quest 3S

I have the same issue. It’s been 12 hours. I have 2 headsets and both are doing the same thing. Hope it gets resolved soon, seems like it may be something on their end.

We are having same issue!!!! I just bought metaquest 3s and exactly the same thing is coming up for us.  Is there any number we can call as i have an upset 11 year old waiting impatiently on a Friday night??????

I tried on my own but the headset is not recognized by the manual update "software"....

So I did a manual update and it has resolved the issue.
