I was stuck on this screen forever during the setup process and what worked was installing the software manually by following these instructions and plugging the headset into your phone.
Just did the factory reset and am dl the update through meta.com. this is A headache... I feel bad for the casual user that doesn't know how to properly troubleshoot this..
I'm stuck on pairing, I can't connect with my headset to my phone and I can't find where to put the code in the app. I don't know why they have to make this so hard.
I agree. so annoying. But yes, when you go into factory reset mode, select sideload update. Then I connected the headset to my phone and followed the instructions on the phone. Make sure you're logged into Meta on your phone. It took me two tries.
i get the same thing. i tried to update it via sideload update and my pc then it says my device dont support it. When i connect it to my phone get to the point where im supposed to type in pairing code, but im in sideload so the screen is just black, no where to get the code from. Im so frustrated, i upgraded my headsett from quest 2 -3s today and now i cant even use it
