This has been an on going issue with the Quest Link software. Everything works fine when using 3rd party apps to connect to my PCVR setup. Immediately after connecting via Quest Link the video is laged to the point of unuseability and any controller commands take 5-7 seconds to show any action on the screen. This also happened with my Quest 2, same issue.
Annoyed to the point im just going to stop trying to use the Link app. Considering the number of like issues on here that don't have a solution, I'm a bit concerned that this issue will never be solved.
Well looking into the other threads here, it appears that the Quest 3 has a hardware bug that is causing issues with the Quest Link app both Airlink and Cable. Whats worse is that aparently Meta knows about this issue and is refusing to acknowledge its existence. That pretty much confirms to me that Meta will never put out a good consumer product and that their integrity is nonexistant. When the next generation of VR headsets are released Meta will not even be considered as an option since their own Hardware/Software compatability is questionable as is their ethics.
