I've had a Quest 3 for about eight months, along with the Meta Charging Dock. I've never really had any major issues until now. The left controller seemed to stop working. After doing some troubleshooting, I ended up replacing the rechargeable battery with a standard AA, and the controller resumed function. The controller had been on the dock for nearly two days since the last time I used it, and read an orange light the whole time. The right controller and headset are both charging fine. I attempted to use a multimeter to test the battery, but it didn't read anything for either rechargeable battery (including the working one that read 100% in the headset), but still worked fine on a standard AA.
I'm wondering if there is any other way I fix it, and, if it does need replaced, would it be covered by the limited warranty for the Dock Charger.
Note: Neither I nor the other members of my family that use the headset recall dropping or damaging the controllers recently.
