I’ve been struggling to get the Meta Quest Link app installed on my Parallels Windows setup running on an M4 Pro MacBook. After numerous attempts, I always encounter the same error: “Sorry, we encountered an error during installation. Please restart your computer and try running Link Setup again.”
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Restarting the virtual machine and reinstalling the app
Ensuring that my Parallels setup and Windows environment are fully updated
Allocating sufficient resources (RAM/CPU) to the VM - 4 CPUs and 8GB
Checking for USB and driver compatibility between macOS and Parallels
Despite this, the error persists. Has anyone successfully installed the Quest Link app on Parallels Windows in a similar setup? Are there any workarounds or specific settings I might be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
@fabio_s@Chrissandra Short answer = No. You will not be able to play PCVR. A bit of googling will tell you that.
