I've also seen other posts around this and I'm offering a theory to the problem:
I'm also experiencing an issue with Meta Quest Link/Oculus Client. My system is running Windows 11, i9, 16GB RAM, and an RTX 4060 laptop GPU with dual graphics (Intel Iris Xe + RTX 4060).
Here's the issue:
This makes me suspect the Link software is having trouble with GPU numbering in dual-GPU setups:
Despite all attempts, I still get the blue banner error: "Does not meet minimum spec."
This behavior suggests a possible bug in how Meta Quest Link detects and assigns GPUs.
I believe it is (hard wired) expecting the High powered (RTX)GPU to be GPU 0 and not GPU 1 in the system
Has anyone else encountered this or found a workaround?
PS.
I'd rather not run the RTX for everything and use a lot more power.

They need to phase out the meta quest link app and just let steam link app, in the headset read link cable, tbh.
The MQL app, says my pc doesn't meet the required specs. That seems to just be a bug in the app itself. And it seems like the app in general is just an overly buggy mess. However, there shouldn't really be a need for us to use MQL for pcvr when it's so poorly made. It also eats up resources while idling in the background while we play.
I'm unsure of why you wouldn't use your gpu for pcvr, and instead are trying to use integrated cpu graphics for it? the experience is going to be awful for you. I do think you should be able to choose in multi gpu set ups wh your preferred one is, but an onboard driver isn't going to play pcvr very well compared to a dedicated gpu, like your 4060.

I don't understand your reply, the software should select the GPU or detect it. The dual setup is so you don't run an RTX 4060 ALL the time for every app as the main GPU, that doesn't need it, it will keep the system fans going all the time. So the intel GPU handles the rest of the day to day apps, at lower power. I'd rather people comment on this if they understand it and can offer something helpful. Really I want someone from meta to see this. If we are force to use this app, it should work properly and be supported for bug reports like this.

you seem to be overcomplicating it for no reason.
If you want a good PCVR experience you're going to need to use your 4060, and not the onboard graphics of the cpu. You can just set apps to be low power consumption in windows settings. The amount of power used in separating your usage like this, is negligible. You're not going to notice or see a difference.
As of right now, for pcvr we have to use their app

NO, you are wrong again and wasting time on this thread. The app should be able to know which is which and needs fixing, I'm not going to run the laptop o a card which I dont need to use %70 of the time. Please let someone else answer who aligns with what I am saying, thanks for advice but it has not been helpful in this case.

So we are near the end of January 2025 and still no fix from Meta. Not a good look for them. Come on, fix this issue A.S.A.P please. I have the Alienware 18 and I can't get this to work!
