Meta Quest Link software opening after I close it (Rift S)

It just started doing this recently but anytime I close the link software, my computer monitor flashes and it opens up again.

I have the done main couple things to try and troubleshoot this

-Unplug the headset (still opens with the headset unplugged)
-Try to do a fresh install of the software (including finding old oculus files to delete after uninstalling)

Both did not work. The only thing that keeps it closed is if I go into the task manager and end the OVR Service Launcer. It still flashes my screen when I close it though. Also it sometimes creates another OVR Rid process. Closing the Oculus Dash also gets rid of it.

I am guessing it might be a bug with the newest update? I've never had this problem and have seen one other complaining about this issue as well.

I am open to any suggestions, this is quite annoying.

Lots of issues with auto startup - Meta Quest Link PTC v71 began opening at system boot with no option to disable

 Yea.. I've been going back and forth with support about it too. I think it really needs a bug fix or better update especially since it's been happening to others for quite awhile now

I have found a solution thanks to a comment in the thread here. It has to do with deleting the remote desktop companion file.
