Meta Quest Pro can't pair left touch controller after V69 update a couple of days ago

The Meta Quest Pro headset is practically new. I have been using it to ADVERTISE Meta products and Virtual and Mixed Reality here in Brazil. We had a channel with 1 million followers on YouTube with about 10 THOUSAND Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality game videos, but the channel was PERMANENTLY BANNED due to the CENSORSHIP that happens in Brazil, we lost money, followers and content.
Coming back, everything was working PERFECTLY, but 2 days ago the headset updated and after booting, it updated the controls. It was restarted again, the left control appeared as connected but not tracked.
I unpaired the 2 controls. I did the factory reset 7 times. ONLY the right control paired. The left control does not complete pairing when it is pairing, a message appears instead: Headset connection lost.
I changed the Wi-Fi network security from WP3 to WP2 to WP to NO SECURITY.
I turned off 5G and connected to 2.4G. I changed 3 different routers.
I connected 2 different iPhones to pair.
I set up different networks for the iPhone and headset: Both on 5G, 2.4G, and then each one on different Ghz.
I can unpair and then pair the RIGHT controller, it works perfectly, Oculus X button, flashing red, 10 seconds, Oculus Y button and OK. The message Headset connection lost does not appear. I can play Beat Saber on the Headset, or Virtual Desktop, PCVR, Beat Saber on Steam, everything works and does not lose connection.
I can leave the right controller paired or unpaired, and try to pair the left controller. But, before completing, the HeadSet Connection Lost appears on the Meta App and does not pair.
Factory reset and PAIR right at the beginning WITHOUT CELL PHONE. Left DOES NOT PAIR, RIGHT PAIR.
System Version: 50436710071900330
Version: 69.0.0.576.352.641228209
Runtime Version: 69.0.0.570.355.641203395
OS Version: SQ3A.220605.009.A1
Right Controller Firmware: 1.43.1
Left Controller Firmware: unknown
Note:
1) I live in Brazil and have always actively created content for META. When we had 1 million followers on YouTube, we used 6 MetaQuest 2. Then we bought the Pro and sold all the other Quest 2s for financial reasons, we lost the channel and more than $150,000 in our YouTube account. And now the ONLY headset we have and that we take care of is defective due to a BUG on META UPDATE ERROR. What are we going to do?
...
Please, we ask URGENTLY for you to analyze the situation, I am available for a video call, to downgrade, to reset to another firmware, to do whatever is necessary, it is just not fair that I suffer the consequences of losing one or two controls due to a META update error, which requires us to do the updates.

META is intentionally damaging Quest Pro devices because they are out of warranty or because the update download originated outside of a supported country. They have put out a malicious update to purposely damage them so that users will have to spend more money with META. No Quest Pro user is going to buy a Meta 3 or a META 3 S. However, if the devices are intentionally damaged by the updates, you will be forced to buy another headset.

Hi @BeatrizBrazil,

We understand how frustrating and alarming this situation must be.

We assure you that Meta is committed to providing quality service and support to all of our customers, regardless of warranty status or location. We would never intentionally damage any devices. However, we'd like to help address your specific issue. Could you please reach out to us via private message? We’ll do our best to investigate and find a resolution that works for you.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

sure, i used my quest 2 headset to work, now i cant even use it properly anymore without the controller, the cast function stopped working, i get a ton of screen artifacts sometimes and every new update looks like they're purposelly slowing down the headset, after v69 and v71 update even the resolution on games been absolutelly garbage comparing to how it was on V67.
Meta is definetelly doing this intentionally with quest 2 and pro users, after those updates tons of people are complaining but all that meta does is ignore and avoid solving the issue, and if cant fix the issue just let me rollback my fcking headset back to where it was previously and worked perfectly, literally a way to reinstall the controller firmware or rollback update would have solved it, i've opened more than 6 tickets to their support, contacted them on twitter and its always the same bs generic answers like "remove the batteries, clean the controller, or the classic "Go buy a refurbished one for 50$" which is a steal considering how expensive it is here in brazil RN, basically a new controller would be almost the price of a new headset with the taxes and they dont even ship to brazil, makes no sense forcing me buy a new one when my actual one used to work perfectly and its on absolute mint condition, it just stopped working properly after those updates, but they refuse to aknowledge that they are wrong and are just releasing bull**bleep** updates complete with bugs and problems intentionally

I've done private messages and it's all the same, every single time a different person saying a different thing. Sometimes I get someone at META that agrees it was a faulty update, then he asks my personal information, that is the SAME on META records, then the next agent returns saying I won't get an exchange for free and I'll have to buy another controller.

But the point is, if I buy the new controller, I won't have any warranty about WHEN META will damage it again on purpose. Or the other one.

So, if you really work at META, you can message me or send me an e-mail to fix the mess you did.

Hey my friend, I'm pretty sure META is doing this on purpose, for every person like us who paid $1,500.00 for a Meta Quest PRO, it doesn't make sense to buy a META Quest 3.

And this year, instead of making a META 4 or a better headset, they're making a new Quest 2 called Meta 3S.

So, let's purposely DAMAGE all META Quest Pros that are out of warranty or that had their update downloaded outside of countries where support is available, like Brazil. And then, if one of the variables above is true, we're going to damage something, in our case the left stick.

Just imagine how many META Quest Pros were sold. Unlike iPhones, where you buy a new iPhone every year or every 2 years, if you bought a Quest Pro, then there's no reason for you to buy the Quest 3, much less the Quest 3 S. In other words, did they sell a headset where the customer will buy another one after 10 years?

There is a huge difference between Apple and META. Apple has ALWAYS worked with hardware, bringing innovations every year. META has NEVER worked with hardware. META's business is advertising, selling data, the logical part and never the physical part. And META has not prepared itself to update headsets every year. META is not in the business of selling products, only services, data, information, and advertising.

META will NEVER be an Apple. So, how to solve this and make all META customers buy new headsets? Simple. By performing MALICIOUS updates to burn and damage the products themselves, causing artifacts to appear in the image, causing performance and connectivity problems that did not exist before. META thought: We do not need to develop something new every year to sell like Apple, what we need is to make our audience like Virtual Reality, buy our products and after 2 or at most 3 years we make them stop working and that's it: We will be able to sell again.

Where is the line of code for the update? If I can prove that the update is malicious and intended to cause damage, how much compensation will I receive?

contacted meta here through the private messages as they asked and like always, no answers from them till now, meta support doing an excelent job as always, breaking their users products intentionally and dont giving a bit of help to solve it 🙂

Thank you, I'm still waiting for the free replacement as promised by THREE of the agents, where they recognized that's a sistemic error, a malicious update or at least a buggy one.

They checked the telemetry and just before the update my device and both controllers were working 100% perfect,

After the update, it never worked anymore.

So, it doesn't matter if the controller is new, old, inside the warranty or not. The point is that META damaged it. And when you damage something, on purpose or by accident, you have to assume the consequences and pay the bill.

Please send it ASAP.
