Meta Quest Pro not powering back on-

I've been using my headset a lot this year and it only stopped working a few days ago.

It won't charge or power back on.

The last thing I remember was it was low battery and it just never took a charge or turned back on after the battery died.   Maybe it died in the middle of a automatic update while on the charging station?

Does anyone know how if replacing the battery will fix this?   or is the motherboard bricked?

Hey there! We thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand that your device will no longer charge or power on. We know how this can affect your gaming experience and would love to help you with it. Could you please try the following:

 

  • If you're using the facial interface accessory or front pad cover while charging the device, attempt to charge the headset without them to see if that will work.
  • Attempt to charge the headset for 2 hours.
  • Try charging from a different source (another PC or a different wall outlet).
  • Hard reboot the headset.
    1. Hold down the power button and volume-down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound.
  • Last resort: factory reset the device.

Could you also answer the following question as well:

  • Have any liquids been spilled on the headset? Have wet-sanitizing wipes been used to clean the eye cups of the device?

I’m sorry I never got to test it…my rabbit destroyed the cable that connects the battery to the headset so it won’t power on anymore….

does Meta sell replacement parts for that situation?…

Since there isn't much troubleshooting one can do for rabbit-based destruction, we'd like to see what warranty options may exist for you!
