Hi all, for some reason I am unable to stream my laptop audio to my headset using the Remote Desktop app.
I am on macOS Sequoia, and can see the Audio Driver within Finder. However, it does not show up in my audio device selection (neither in System Settings nor Control Center).
Is this a new issue? Is there anything else I can provide to assist in troubleshooting?

Hey there @ztalvd!
There are some known issues with audio streaming with Remote Desktop to your headset, this might be the case for you.
Installing Remote desktop installs a virtual audio device to enable streaming audio from your computer to your headset.
You could try and select the virtual audio device that was installed from the installation of Remote Desktop. However if there isn't any virtual audio device or you have already selected it, I'd try to reinstall Remote Desktop.
Though do note that Removing Remote Desktop by dragging the application to the recycling bin will not uninstall the virtual audio device. Please run the uninstaller to completely uninstall Remote Desktop.
Moreover plugging in or unplugging an audio device while using Remote Desktop may cause issues.
Hope this helps! 🐢

Apparently the audio only works with Workrooms and not directly with Remote Desktop (at least in macOS).
