Meta Quest Support Chaos: Can't verify ME as parent while my card works for Meta ads

Here's my experience with Meta Quest Support and their absurd age verification process - it's getting even more bizarre with each response!
 
As a parent who purchased Meta Quest and several games for my son (who is 12), I am completely frustrated with their verification system and support. When trying to verify my card through their interface, it results in an error - even though the same card is successfully verified for PayPal purchases and my Meta advertising account! 
 
The latest twist? After weeks of trying to verify MY AGE as a parent, they're now talking about restrictions for children under 10 (completely irrelevant) and asking for my son's ID! Let me share this ridiculous situation:
 
1. Meta blocked my son's access to games WE PAID FOR because they need age verification
2. Their solution keeps changing:
   - First they wanted parent's payment card verification (which fails despite the same card working fine for Meta ads and PayPal purchases)
   - Then they said the card should be in my SON'S name (???)
   - Now they're asking for my son's ID
3. The absurdity:
   - I already have a verified payment method on my Meta account
   - I've purchased all the games using my card (through PayPal)
   - Support first tells me to verify with MY card as a parent
   - Then they say it doesn't work because the card should be in my SON'S name
   - How can a child have a credit card for parental verification?
   - Now they want my child's ID
   - They keep missing the point that we're trying to verify ME as a parent, not my son's age
 
Support's response has been unhelpful and contradictory. They're asking for parental verification while making it technically impossible to provide it.
 
Time wasted: Several hours
Money at risk: All game purchases
Current status: Still unresolved
 
Another absurdity: my account is linked to my Facebook account, where I have the same cards set up as payment methods and an advertising account - all working perfectly fine without any issues.

*Update on this ridiculous situation:*
 
The absurdity continues! After all that back-and-forth, support is now telling me NOT to share ID photos in the chat because they're "sensitive information" - right after they strictly demanded these same IDs while quoting their Terms of Service! 
 
How are we supposed to verify anything when they keep contradicting themselves in every single message? First they want my card (which fails), then my son's card (absurd), then our IDs (quoting Terms), and now they say don't share IDs because they're sensitive?
 
This is getting beyond ridiculous. Still no access to our paid games, and support seems to be going in circles.
 
Has anyone from Meta actually resolved this verification issue successfully? I'm starting to think it's impossible by design.
