Hiya
Last year, someone on Reddit confirmed that cross buy compatible Meta Quest+ subscription games work via Oculus PCVR.
I just bought a Meta Quest+ subscription.
Games I've redeemed as part of my Meta Quest+ subscription, that are cross buy compatible, never the less don't appear in my Oculus library. If I click on them, I only get the option to buy them, not to install them.
Examples-
( * Part of the 2 games you get added to your library month, whereas the others are a part of the rotating collection, in case this matters )
What's even stranger, is that one game above, that I didn't redeem via the Android Meta Quest app, "2MD: VR Football Unleashed ALL☆STAR", I was given the suggestion when using Oculus Link, viewing the Oculus store, to "GET", suggesting it should be available via the Oculus library, but when I clicked on it I got an error code (OVR98597979.) Interestingly, after doing that, it's now listed as successfully redeemed on the Android Meta Quest app library etc, but again, if I browse to it in my Oculus library, it's not there, and if I find it on the Oculus store, I have to buy it to get it.
Something seems amiss to me!
PS I did try live chat, but the answer I was given was in essence that some games are Quest only - yes I know that, but the above listed games are proper cross buy games.

@G3na5ide Just to save you a little time, I've already gone through all this with a meta support ticket that eventually got bumped up to someone who knew the answer. The answer is that Meta+ apps can only be played on the Quest standalone headset. Even if they are cross-buy they cannot be used in PCVR unless you actually purchase it separately.
If you're like me and have a strong gaming PC then this isn't good news, but that's just the way it is right now. I got a free 6mo trial with my Q3/512Gb and unless this policy changes I'm unlikely to extend this subscrition.
Aside; don't believe everything you read in Reddit, lol! I got sooo tired of trying to correct Reddit kiddies I've actually deleted my account.

Thank you for the response.
I appreciate your eagerness to help me directly and privately but in the first instance I think it's reasonable to request an answer the following simple version of the question publicly, first-
Are cross buy compatible games available on the Meta Quest+ subscriptions available to play over Meta Quest Link (Oculus PC app / PCVR)?
If the answer is no then it represents a policy change by Meta and there's no point following up my individual situation privately.

Following up, why does the Quest+ Subscription not work with Meta PC Crossbuy?

@LunchAndJosh Just the current Meta+ policy, just the way it is. If you don’t agree with this policy, just vote with your wallet imho.

I am, never spent a dime on Quest+, just the free 6 month trial 🙂
If they do add crossbuy into it then maybe I'll spend on it

It would be awfully nice if you instead gave us all an answer to this question. The whole point of quest + is for the games, if those same games are restricted to just standalone versions then that severely limits the value of that subscription to some like myself. As in, if I am going to need to buy the game anyways to enjoy if via pcvr then why even pay for the subscription?

Hey there, @TG.1984! At this time, Meta Quest+ subscription apps are limited to standalone. We do welcome you to share your interest in PCVR titles being added to the subscription on our ideas forum; we're always looking for ways we can improve. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out!
