Meta Support and Headset

Just writing my thoughts on things to see if anyone else has these issues, and to get attention in hopes to spread some awareness.

 

I originally had issues with my brand new Meta Quest 3 headset, it would constantly crash, playing on link cable, browsing through the headset stores, anything. For context I got this device as a gift on the 30th of April, so its straight out of the box new. The crash consists of a white and black grainy view in the viewport, accompanied by a loud beeping sound, then the device auto restarts. This has happened at least 15+ times over the course of the few days that I was using it. I've hard rebooted the headset, and factory reset it. (As per customer support requested) This headset is clearly faulty.

 

I had contacted Meta support over this (on the first of May, and its gone on everyday for that week), to which the conversation ran in circles, with them eventually wanting to check my computer files (its irrelevant as the headset itself was the one with issues), to which I eventually asked a family member to help open a separate support ticket to get a replacement headset as its faulty, and she was the one that purchased it. (This has gone on the past week and still going on)

 

This lead her to be running in circles with several customer support agents, through email and live chat, only to further get frustrated as it seems they aren't willing to solve the issue, but to put it on the side and force us on the sideline for unrealistic amounts of waiting time. It shouldn't take almost a week to get a shipping return label for a faulty product outside of my control. Its just frustrating.
