I have a Quest 3 and 50Gbyte Internat connection with WIFI6 at home. For the family and friends we used our TV via chromecast to play games e.g. 7th guest to involve all. Since approx. 2 weeks my chromecast was not longer selectable for streaming of my quest. Long story short, after some actions I contacted meta support and got the hint of meta stopped support for chromecast streaming. Proposed alternatives was streaming via PC. By the way, streaming via handy isn't an option because I can see only part of the screen and the screen size for a group of people isn't very comfortable. Anyhow, I went for the PC solution and connected oculus.com, but it wasn't a proper solution. After max. 3 minutes I have had to reconnect because the TV screen was frozen or black.

I’ve noticed that many of us, including myself, rely on Quest and Meta products in our work, often involving clients. It’s incredibly frustrating to find ourselves in a position where we’ve trusted our work to a platform, only to have it fall short when we need it most. The lack of support for a globally used broadcasting system, followed by a dismissal with the excuse of ‘not being fully supported,’ is extremely disappointing.
