Meta gift cards saying suspicious acrivity

Hello, this account is my son's, and for Christmas he got a few gift cards from his family. I put in all the gift card numbers, and by the 4th code, it said my IP address was temporarily blocked due to suspicious activity. I tried a few more times, and after 6 hours or so, the code was finally allowed to be typed in. Then he got 1 more code from a different family member, and that code said the same "suspicious activity" crap. It's now been 2 days, and it still says it's blocked and won't let me input the code. It's a little more suspicious to me that a company takes people's money for gift cards, no problem, but then when it's time to apply those codes to accounts, it won't let them.

Hi! I switched to my phone over a different IP address and was able to redeem the last gift card.

Hi! How exactly did you do that because I did and still blocked my IP.

We are having this issue too. I reached out weeks ago and all I get is an email every 3-4 days saying that a new person is looking into this and nothing else ever happens!

We would be more than happy to look into this issue further so you can use your gift card without worry! So we can get a better understanding of what you're seeing, could you please provide us with a picture of any warning messages you see about this? Please provide the picture whenever you can!

We tried changing physical locations, resetting our router and vpn apps to change our ip address and nothing has worked.
