I am about to get a 4th replacement. I have never in my life purchased a product that has failed so many times within weeks of ownership. Each replacement has had it's defects.. and I think what makes it worse is the suport from overseas have no tact.. Every email is answered by a different person and each person wants to "confirm" your email address so they can send the replacement. Same information every time, same platitudes. Not, "Holy crud! I can't believe this happened with our product sir, especially these many times! GASP!!" No, nope, just a "sir, are you sure it is broken, can you please reboot it sir, can you please factory reset it, okay sir, can you please confirm your email address and address we can ship a replacement to"...
It's infuriating that not a single person at Meta cares. Not a one, at least not enough to make things better for the customer. How on earth does a Headset get through QA with a big black.. it looks like something you'd see through a microscope "when your zoomed into it"... Not dead pixels, smears.. like it's a scratch in the glass or an actual object behind the lense.

Then the lying. They know full well they only send you refurbished POC that they cobbled back together and got some 4th grade kid to play with before shipping it out as functional (whomever they have in QA doesn't care, you can tell) Yet they tell you there is a probability you woll get a refurbished one, giving the customer false hope that they will get an "in-kind trade". Meaning THIS:
IF I purchased what I consider an expensive electronic vr unit... IF it fails within the warranty period I can get a refund or a NEW IN KIND replacement.
From the onset, within the initial warranty period I was denied a refund by the tech and told about the "possibility" of a refurbished unit.
So I turn in a pristine and well maintained unit and got back a scratched up and smelly still broken vr set.
What would happen if this was happening with your iPhone? 😶🤔🤔🤔
With all honesty, I will never again purchase from Meta again. There are other options now and if this is the kind of support and customer support / satisfaction that can be expected from Meta, never again.
I should not be on my fourth replacement.
I should not have more time waiting for replacements than I ever got to use the actual units. This is insane that any company would run this way. Insane. 🔥:hundred_points:💩
