Meta horizon app crashes when trying to pair quest to wifi

Every time I try to connect my oculus quest to a WiFi using the horizon apps pairing process it crashes.

I’ve seen other posts where people have work arounds like removing WiFi passwords and downloading older versions of the app.

All I want to know is, is there a legitimate way to do this with the app or is my headset just a brick now?

Hi there, @BubblySquid5810 ! Thanks for reaching out regarding the issue you've been facing while trying to connect your headset to Wi-Fi.

If you're unable to connect your headset to Wi-Fi, via your app, you can still do so directly from your headset:

To connect to Wi-Fi using your headset:

1. Press Meta button/ Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
3. Select Settings in the top right, then select Wi-Fi.
4. Make sure that the toggle for Wi-Fi is turned on.
5. Find the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to and select Connect.
6. Enter the Wi-Fi password if one is required to finish connecting to Wi-Fi.
