I have noticed a number of people have been hacked via the unrecognized Meta horizon account being linked in the same account center. There is no way to remove the Meta horizon account, since logged in into the unrecognized Meta horizon account will put the client account at risk. Some people also has tried to logged into the unrecognized Meta horizon account to remove or delete it, however it does not worked since a code has been sent to the hacker email address in order to delete the account.
As a precaution to avoid this from happening on me, is there any way to remove the unrecognized Meta horizon account if my account center has been hacked by it?
I see a lot of similar posts that shock me a bit. Isn't 2FA enough to sleep soundly? I wonder if the problem is with Meta (security holes) or people are too lazy to use 2FA?
Can a Meta employee comment more on this topic?
