How in the living Christ do I get rid of all the Horizon World crap Meta just installed right there next to all my mostly curated apps on my Quest 3 menu?
As someone with OCD/OCPD, I literally feel like starting some class-action lawsuit for abuse or something here. I didn't ask for any of these apps, but now I literally can't get rid of them and have to constantly navigate through them when I just want pick from one of the games I actually bought and filtered so I would only see the recent stuff, as in the stuff I actually use. There's now nearly as many Horizon Worlds shoved in there as all my own games! I can't even hide these f'n Horizon Worlds! The whole point of the filters should be that ultimately I should be able to show only the games and such I personally want to see and hide away all the rest!
I tell you, if this kind of crap persists, the instant I can get away from this insidious company with a better standalone VR headset that still has access to all the big VR titles, etc, maybe the next one from Valve, I'm outta there!

In the library screen on the left click "Applications" or the square with four blocks you have simplified menu set and the "Worlds" links arn't shown.
To make matters worse the "Worlds" app is now uninstallable but can be hidden (if you are lucky like me and have the option).
I agree being forced this imo rubbish is a pain. The desisions that META make are never going make every one happy. I was gutted when "Achevements" was taken from us and still am.

@inceptional I also have the meta horizon bloatware and do not have the hide option for these items. A work around is to hide all the apps that you do use and use the hidden apps folder as your main library. Not an ideal solution, but it stops you seeing this rubbish and inadvertently clicking on it.

@oculusness do you not have the sorting option @HoliamRoberts mentioned when you open your library?
You can choose between "all", "apps" or "worlds".

@Choleni I have that option, and I also have worlds showing up almost everywhere. The hidden folder for me just keeps it to the actual apps I use. No worlds, no people, no store.

And another thing..... are countries where horizon worlds isn't supported still getting this bloatware as part of the OS. would factory resetting the headset and using a Turkish VPN to set it up get rid of the bloat?

I see..... I just overlook all this
I can't remember that I was ever in the store while wearing the headset.

I think they would get it, just can't use it.
You could ask one of the guys here if they have the worlds.

Did that approach work in the end?

@rhicklin I asked @Maccyb123 and he has the bloat but is unable to access it. So, it looks like we're stuck with it.
