Simply put, I really wish apps on the tablet weren't parented to the menu. If I have to pause a vr app to look at a tablet app, that isn't multi tasking, that's stopping one task to do another and then closing it down and resuming.
I expect there are maybe some performance concerns but I beg of you to leave that choice to the user as a setting. I work a lot in various productivity apps and it's a huge gap between a desktop and a VR experience when you cannot quickly look for references images and just pin it in your space, or even just have some YouTube vid in the background. If you want us to use this great device for creativity and productivity, give us everything we need to stay comfortable and entertained while in VR.
