Meta quest 2. Not pairing - have tried everything

My meta quest 2 will not pair. Have tried everything and also was online with support for 1.5 hours. Rather frustrated that it won’t work.

The device is showing, but won’t connect. When trying to add new device, it won’t pair, either using the manual process or the app updating the code. 

- restored to factory reset (numerous times)

- removed app. Reinstalled. deleted app, reinstalled

- tried different phones

- tried different accounts

- turned on and off bluetooth

- deleted cache from bluetooth

- tried with an old phone and old version of app (wouldn’t work without updated app)

Surely there is something that will work. For the cost of the device, I can’t accept that it is just cooked.

Also seems to have occurred to a range of people around the same time in the last few days based on other comments I’ve just seen.

Yeah same issue, tried different Wi-Fi networks,phones, factory resetting 100x at this point. Tried sideload old meta quest versions, old mobile app versions. All that cause they had that update with Firstimenux which didn’t allowed me do anything with my device! Thad dumb nux was in front of screen I couldn’t close or minimise that bull crap. I couldn’t open any of my apps. So I thought that was malware and factory reseted it. Oh boy…I didn’t knew the factory reset meant self destruct device. Now I’m stuck in endless pairing screen. Just as I enter code it throws me back to it again! Tried for 47 times,even counted it!

See if this solves that issue. I fixed mine by this... Idk how and why but it fixed it self by fallowing this vid.

Podla navodu videa treba mat v pc zariadenie bluetooth?? Lebo som pripojeny zatial len cez wifi siet... A nefunguje parovanie 🙈

Didnt quite understand but i think you are asking if the pc needs a blueooth, and if so,the answer is yes. And same wifi. I used laptop for that.

Cez tyzden kupim bluetooth a vyskusam to... Lebo mam nervy z toho, uz par dni mam problem s VR, od vtedy co padol system facebooku... Chcel som reklamovat ale mesiac cakat na opravu je dlho 🙈...
