A while ago, I noticed that I was unable to cast on my Meta Quest app. After a little bit of research on the forums and YouTube, I came to the conclusion that the best thing to do would be to factory reset and delete the device data to get a fresh start. However, after doing that, my situation worsened. Now, I am unable to connect to my Quest for setup. To cover a couple of bases: yes, the app is on the latest version and has WiFi and Bluetooth permissions, and I have both my iPhone and Quest on the same network with Bluetooth enabled.

This has happend to BOTH of my Quest 2s.
Support has been no help at all. Like you said, factory reset multiple times, updated app, multiple phones, different networks, different houses. I have been fighting this since December 2023 when I got a second headset.
There is some sort of issue on the licensing server.
You might be able to see if the headset is under: https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/
I deleted my first headset on this website, but it still exists under: https://www.meta.com/my/devices/
Im sorry this is happening to you, but its refreshing to see someone else is bringing up this issue.

Further support to why I believe its a server license issue. I tried to enable App Sharing on the device and it says that it's enable on another device even though only one device is in the list.

We were having the same issues. Cannot pair after factory reset. Couldn’t add accounts before that. Our downloads disappeared. Won’t pair with app. What a mess.

Your support has done NOTHING to help me other than cut and paste all the fixes we have access to, and have already done. This is your software problem since the update. Many others are going to complain, I wouldn’t be surprised if many others have issues without a fix, a class action lawsuit would be started as your devices are expensive, no accessibility to speak on the phone with a representative or continuity of conversation with one rep.
please don’t respond that I should contact customer support, I’ve don’t that multiple times. You offered me to buy another oculus for 249.99 refurbished. You can buy a new one for 199.99 for the oculus 2! Ridiculous!
