Meta quest 2 turns on while charging causing it not to charge. (Auto-wake is off)

I have tried about 20 different cords and ways of charging it, power block, in the car, everything. Ive had this since June 2022. How in the world can i fix this?

Hey @Cursidd. We've seen things like this pop up in the past and the recommended fix was to check for a firmware update.

You can try and get your headset an update by doing the following:

1.  Press the Oculus button on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu
2. Hover over the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu. When Quick settings appears, select it to open the Quick settings panel.
3. Select Settings (gear icon)
4. Select About/System > Software update > Install updates. 

If your headset does not update right away, you can also try power cycling the device and charging overnight to try to force the update.

I'd love to do this, but my oculus quest 2 is dead. is there any other suggestions?
