Meta quest 3 - Left controller randomly moving by itself

SOUPTOOCRAZY

I was playing a game and my left controller thumbstick randomly started moving on it's own, I try to recalibrate my left controller Dead-Zone and it still moves like crazy. I don't know why my left controller is moving by it self. Is there a way i can replaced it with a new controller. How can I fix this problem with out breaking it.

Hey @SOUPTOOCRAZY, welcome to the forums! 👋 I hope you're able to get back up and running in no time. I just wanted to jump in here and hopefully provide some guidance.

It looks like you're having some issues with stick drift taking you away from your destination, so I'd suggest trying to bring it back with a couple of basics:

  1. Reset the controllers by removing the batteries for about 30 seconds before placing them back in.
  2. When turning on the controllers make sure the joysticks are in the neutral center position.
  3. Try cleaning the controller.
    • Compressed air can also help remove dust and debris from the joystick.
  4. Lastly, try to re-pair the controllers with the headset.

If none of those seem to help out, I do also recommend reaching out to @MetaQuestSupport through PMs so that they can check out some other options. Be sure to let them know what you've already tried so that they can jump ahead!
