It is always important to keep in mind the location of intended use when making electronics purchases, and you're definitely thinking along the right tracks! We will always recommend purchasing the Quest devices in the region in which they will be intended for use, not only to make certain that any warranty issues are simpler to resolve, but to also help with any social features that may vary by region. As a general example, you may purchase a device in the UK and then later be able to use it fine in Australia, however to have any service or warranty work done it would have to be shipped back to the UK for it to process.
