Meta quest 3 metawork rooms

Hi everyone,As the title show's I'm unable to use my microphone in the horizon workrooms app. The microphone works in virtual desktop & all the other apps.I have reinstalled the app on MQ3 & the PC as well. But still microphone doesn't works.

I have factory reset the MQ3 reinstalled the apps on my windows 11 pc & MQ3. Also formated my windows 11 pc still same issue.

Hey @Fazed172! We would love to help you with your microphone working properly in Horizon Workrooms. We completely understand how it feels when your microphone is not working properly. Thank you so much for trying those troubleshooting steps to correct the issue. 

 

Please keep the following in mind If you're having a problem with your video call's sound:

  • If you have an external microphone or speakers, make sure they're connected correctly to your computer.
  • Check that your microphone isn't on mute. Some microphones have buttons to mute or unmute. If you're using a headset, it may have a mute switch on the side of the headset or on the cable that connects to your computer.
  • Close any open applications that use a camera or microphone. For example, other video calling or chat programs.
  • Make sure the other participants have their microphone set up correctly.

I have tried the above methods but still its not working.

Thank you so much for reporting back in with us! We'd love to continue looking into this together. Upon further investigation, we found some troubleshooting steps that may help:

  • Since this issue seems to be isolated in one application, Horizon Workrooms, please check the app permissions to make sure that the microphone is enabled. You can change this in your browser settings.
  • If you have an external microphone or speakers, make sure they're connected correctly to your computer.
  • Close any open applications that use a camera or microphone, such as other video calling or chat programs.
  • Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may block the microphone.
    • For example, a third-party facial interface, etc.
  • Reset the microphone.
    • Settings > System > Sound > Toggle Microphone

If it still doesn't work after all of these steps, we recommend reporting the issue directly to our engineers. For more information on how to report a bug for Workrooms, please see our article here.

Hi I have tried the above still mic not working.
