Good morning,
I will explain my situation to you.
I just bought a Meta Quest 3S, during configuration, after connecting the headset to the wifi network, it goes into update. Unfortunately it remains stuck in this state and no longer changes "Software update in progress" with the blue bar above. And it's been 2 hours now. I tried with another wifi network from another operator and it's the same thing. Also I noticed that it constantly connects and disconnects (the screens turn off or go to sleep).
There I am currently stuck at this level, I tried to restart it, even in factory version but nothing changes.
Please help me.

Hold power and volume down together until you see the meta logo
Select side load update
The light on the side turns purple
Plug into PC
Go to meta.quest update page and select your device and follow instructions
Takes about 10 minutes

I have the same issue with 2 separate Meta Quest 3S’s. Mine have been charging and “updating” for 12 hours. I continue to have the systems restart on their own. I have no options to do anything except wait. I’m glad it’s not only me.

It's good !!! I managed to do the update manually, finally some positive development ^^. The headset is still being updated but at least I have a bar that is evolving and gives me another 9 minutes of updating. Also the controllers are updated automatically. In short, it seems unlocked.
