Meta quest 3s - Green screen on Steam Link

Hello, I have the new Quest 3s headset. Everything works very well except the steam link where I have a green screen one lens out of two. I have already managed to put it on twice without knowing how. I have an RX7800 XT (I tried to lower the driver without success).

I would like to say to the Community Manager responding to some of these posts that Steam Link is an app offered in the Meta store—the responses about not recommending third party software seem strange when I can go to meta.com and see a full store page advertising Steam Link and how seamlessly it allows you to play Steam games on your device.

And to be fair, I understand the problem we're all having may not be with Meta and instead with Valve or with AMD video cards, but it would be nice to hear you've reached out to them to investigate a solution rather than effectively telling us we shouldn't be using an app your store provides.

That said, I do thank you for your engagement on here and hope a solution is found soon!

lol yeah this is really what is bugging me being in this forum, like yeah we get it you obviously can’t fix an issue that is caused by another software, but you prominently advertise SteamVR compatibly and have an official app in your marketplace, and I’d argue that it is the biggest reason why people buy a Meta VR headset (i.e all of us here), so it is clear as day to us that you have connections and can at the very least raise attention to the staff at Steam that there are compatibility issues with your new hardware and work with them to iron them out. I don’t really want to sell my AMD gpu and shell out a couple of  bones for a Nvidia gpu but that’s starting to seem like the play guys.

You have to install the Meta Quest app on your PC and then connect it to your Quest3s. Then you can start Steam Link and play without any problems

that is not the issue, the quest app has been installed for over a year and it worked fine with the 2 - does not work with the 3s

it does though look like it is fixed - I was on the beta release in case it came out in beta but they released an official version of steamvr that fixed it on friday

for real? i might hop on the beta channel then and see if that fixes my issues as well.

it is actually the main channel - go into steam and the update came in on friday it should fix it - tried it out this morning and it is all good now
