Meta quest pro right controller dosen't work

I would play as usual as I usually do. Then I see that my right control is connected but has no tracking. I restarted the controls and my vr several times and then i couldn't even connect my right controller. I tried to reconnect it in the meta app on my phone and nothing worked. I even factory reset my vr but none of it worked. Please give me tips meta

Hey there, @Ulthien. The Quest Pro controllers are an amazing piece of tech and we hate to see you're experiencing an issue like this. It sound like your controllers have gotten stuck updating, if you don't mind could you please try resetting your pro controllers.

Howdy there, @knabis.07! This is something we don't want our users to go through. We completely realize that you're having problems with your right pro controller. Since we understand how this may be affecting you. So, if you haven't already, we'd like you to try some of the suggestions we've left below.

 

  • Make sure the tracking cameras of the controllers are clean. Use the cleaning cloth provided with the Quest Pro, or a dry, non-abrasive microfiber cloth.
  • While in VR, hold the controllers at eye level, pointing in front so that the cameras on the controller can see the surroundings.
  • Go through the Meta Quest app and unpair/pair the controllers.
  • Restart the controller by holding down the power button (Oculus/menu) for 1 to 2 seconds.
  • Try waking them up by quickly pressing the Oculus or Menu buttons.

Same problem here.

As a software engineer with 42 years of experience I have to tell you these features are unreliable and behave erratic.

Went through all of possible lights, right controller cannot re-pair and even shows red light then shuts off on B plus oculus button to pair.

Beforehand, stood stuck with "updating at 0%" for both controllers & cant pass on to use the device for the 1st time FOR HOURS.

 

Quite an expensive and useless gimmick.. i used to DEBUG devices and contraptions all my life. This is SAD.

I'm having the same issue with the right controller.  FYI, your reset link is dead.

Thanks for letting us know! In addition, we see you're having issues with your controller and now that one of our mods updated the link we want you to try the following steps if you have not done so yet.

Thanks for your reply. After a couple of reboots, everything got sorted and the right controller began working. All good now.
