Meta sucks way too much

my headset has sucked and had way too many issues since I got it out of the box and started using it. Waited a while and thought maybe updates might fix it or someone online might post a fix for all the issues my headset had. Tried everything and ended up with 0 success and decided to contact meta for a replacement and if it acts just as terrible I’d like at least a refund for waisting my money on a defective device. Sadly meta has been giving me the run around for way too long with clueless and non helpful responses, most of the time I don’t get a response at all. And at this point I’m just baffled and way too overwhelmed at the sight of how meta has been behaving for the past 2 years. I can’t even talk to anyone that can SPELL! I’ve went into detail too many times and metas buffoonery has fried my brain so I hope these emails with me explaining and showing my frustration will make things a little more clear.

I’m running out of options and patience. Even running out of effort to try and get this joke of a company to listen to anything whatsoever. Its like they don’t even read the email or previous emails. I can’t even explain how many times I’ve sent my shipping information and headset serial number just for them to ask me again and again and again just for it to go nowhere again and again and again when I do respond. Can anyone explain why meta sucks this much???

I have sent meta a personal email on their account. Spent hours looking at my meta account in an attempt to find a response. Found a response on my email instead and proceeded to answer the “in order to continue we need your headset serial and your email we can contact you on” for the zillionth time. And I got this as a response. What am I doing wrong? Or is just meta on their silly shenanigans again? (Wouldn’t be surprised, this isn’t the first time meta has made a headache out of something that should be so simple)

Hey, @fluff_overlord! So the email that you received is actually just an automated notification email saying that you have a private message on the community forums, and it shows what the message was. You'll get those emails anytime you post, send a private message, get a comment or a kudo, or have a marked solution to a thread you commented on. There should be an envelope icon next to your profile here on the forums that holds your PMs. Once you click that, you should see a message from the forum support team. Hope that helps!

Thank you very much this definitely helped a lot! I swore I clicked on the picture for my profile on the top right of the screen and it just took me there, definitely never got to see any notifications on that or a bar that popped up after clicking on it. But I might’ve been doing something wrong.

 

i just replied to metas message. Is there any other way I might be able to get to talk to someone (hopefully verbally) if this gets treated as careless as all the other tickets, emails, callback requests, and many other problems meta has given me that get me nowhere like I’ve had in the past? 

Hey, @fluff_overlord! It's good to hear from you again. I know support used to be able to request callbacks in the past; I'm not sure though if they are still doing that now. If you've already started speaking with the teams in the forums, they can look into the status of your replacement and get you in touch with the support teams so they can look into the issue further. I really do hope this info helps and you're able to get your replacement resolved!
