The past months experience with Meta quest support:
My son spent approximately 100 USD of his own saved money on games. In addition he purchased the Quest 3 for aprox 700 USD. Then Meta locked his account and after infinite number of emails to Meta Quest where they only reply with questions if the email was not generated (or perhaps those were to), never with a solution, but then they closed the thread. And whenever we try to contact Meta again in a new thread with the same issue they refer us to reply in a thread that is closed which cannot receive anything!? This just keeps repeating. We sent passport pictures, we tried everything! Email written in all kind of ways trying to get someone in Meta to assist. And never did we get any kind of help. Nothing. And in the end, to be able to use the Quest 3, we had to do a hard reset and he lost all his purchases. I am absolutely stunned by the extreme insufficient help we received. Having a kid se his spendings "robbed" by a massive corporation such as Meta since nobody did ever try to help, only auto messages or questions, and questions, and questions. Similar to a scam I suppose. The trust is completely shattered, and brand loyalty after such an experience is obviously as low as it gets. If we experience this kind of troubles, others probably will (or have) as well. Meta is riding the wave now, sure. But as the competition sharpens if they keep up this kind of customer support they will suffer the consequence in the future with a steady flow of customers abandoning ship...
