As many of you have unfortunately had the displeasure of dealing with, ever since v74, many of our quests have stopped charging correctly. I've spoken to support many times, and they always direct me to this forum to report issues. But although we have countless threads and even talk about it openly under their update posts, they still refuse to acknowledge that this is an issue for so many of us, and instead, essentially start gaslighting us, talking about bad cables and other nonsense. Many of us watched live as out headsets went from working perfectly, to being messed up right after the update, all citing near identical numbers. And yet, it's because of a 3rd party cable? How could they release v74 publicly after not listening to any of us? And now v76 still has the same issues. For those of you who no longer have warranty coverage, what's the option? To buy a new headset? When you didn't damage it in the first place? We literally used and updated our headsets as intended and are being punished and seemingly ignored. No amount of factory resets and "proper cables" are gonna fix this issue. So what are we supposed to do?
I truly can't wait for valves headset to drop, so I can toss this garbage. I'm so done with meta.
