Metaquest 3 - Meta support Unable or unwilling to assist

I purchased a Metaquest 3 in mid October directly from Meta (first mistake) and from mid December it started developing issues whilst charging, eventually only working on another charger and then not charging or switching on at all. Meta support initially seemed helpful, troubleshooting through various issues and after some time agreed that the whole unit was faulty and needed to be returned. 

I was sent a shipping label after a few days but noticed that the first line of my return address was incorrect and asked them to correct it and this is where my troubles really began.

I was told 7 days ago that a ‘specialist’ team would need to take over the issue to fix the incorrect address. Email after email, frustrating live chat after frustrating live chat (with bots) and there doesn’t appear to be anyone in Meta support who can send me a new shipping label with the correct address or even tell me when to expect one.

Has anyone experienced anything similar with Meta support, if so would appreciate any advice on how to take this forward

Hey,

I bought Quest 2 a long time ago, they still haven't managed to deliver me a properly working device.
I will be filing a complaint to the EU court if this situation does not get resolved in this month.

I can't get a normal support from them as well.
They are just making me look like an idiot.

If I'd knew, I would have never bought the device from this company.
Scammers and thieves, that's who they are.

After reading other comments on the forum it seems that sending the quest back will only be the start of my problems and to expect more delays and chasing. I naively expected more from such a well known company.

Unfortunately, too many of us are having the exact same issues and Meta doesn't have humans for support, just AI bots that spin you around in circles after jumping through all of their hoops. The admin on this forum is not human. I have been privately messaging them and have given all the info they needed but they have no solution, they just pass you off to a different bot. I had one bot ask me to upload my government ID. I have it all documented and am filing a report with the BBB.

Hey,

I just filed a complaint to BBB, I hope they can get this situation resolved since the Meta Support Team is completely useless.
This support feels more like a 3rd party company being contracted by Meta to do their dirty work.

I am so sad and unhappy about this but I hope I will get a satisfying resolution at last.
This has been a horrible experience that cost me too much of my strength.

If BBB won't work, I will be filing a formal complaint to EU and my country's court.

There's thousands of unanswered complaints on the BBB. Meta just has too much money to care. Blasting them on social media is my way of venting. I sincerely HATE this company after this experience and wish nothing but the worst for them.

Experiencing this issue now. The Quest 3 has stopped turning on, no reset or button combination seems to make any difference. I had a return merchandise authorisation pretty much immediately when I contacted them, DHL then rejected the package because the dangerous goods label overlapped two sides slightly. Since then no joy from Meta, they've sent me the same DHL label for which the DHL 'wayfair' has already been used, asked me to cancel the pickup myself which I can't do. meanwhile contact is all seemingly via bots. I suggested arranging a courier myself but was told not to as this would confuse the system. Yes it's starting to get very frustrating because it's not a cheap item and it's stopped working after 5 months of use.
