Hello, minecraft is not launching on my alienware aurora R5 with geforce gtx 1070 8GB and 95 6600.
I reinstalled it lots of times, checked windows updates, removed my antivirus scanner as Oculus support told me to do. Still not launching even after resetting my whole pc to factory settings. The crazy thing is that it worked before
I really want this to work! Google earth VR is also not launching and The Lab only launches on my monitor. help me for minecraft!!
I just throught I"d Minecraft for the 1st time in ages. I noticed the download is tiny. <1mb. So where is this game installed??? It runs, takes 100% of my i7 cpu for a while, then 98% of my gpu. Home refreshes but runs really slow on my a liquid cooled 1080ti.
V1.1.5 appears to be the version I'm downloading.
I noticed that windows had a version in from the store. I uninstalled this from apps and programs, then went back into Oculus and re-downloaded Minecraft.
same issue.
The exe is called MinecraftWindows10EditionLauncher.exe and exists in my Oculus software folder.
THe game launches and is stuck at 0% and "waiting for windows update to complete".
Try going onto Microsoft Store and downloading the Windows 10 version of Minecraft from there and then launch the VR version from the Oculus library (that fixed the issue for me personally).
As for The Lab and Google Earth VR, try installing Steam VR, which you can find under Tools in your Steam library.
