Miror casting - Just getting a grey display

Hi everyone,

The miror casting is not working properly from my Quest 3S to the Horizon App on my tablet.

What happens is I get the cast on the Horizon App, but it is just a grey display, just like an old TV with no antena. (I'll take a scapshot of it next time and will post it)

Please help, as the reason I bought the Quest is to be able to share the experience with the family.

Thanks for reaching out regarding your casting issues, we know it can be frustrating to want to share your experiences with others but find you're unable to and so we want to work with you towards a resolution for this issue!

 

The first thing we would advise checking is that the eta Quest 3S is connected on the same bandwidth as your tablet is as while they may be both connected to the same router if they are on different bandwidths they may experience issues in properly identifying each other which could lead to the issue you are experiencing.

 

Once you have checked both devices are on the same bandwidth we would advise giving your headset a hard reboot by holding down the power and volume down buttons on your headset until the boot screen loads up in the display, from there use the volume buttons to scroll to Boot Device and select it using the power button.
