Missing store credit - no support whatsoever

I’m missing over $30 in store credit from a gift card I purchased during Christmas and after two weeks of basically no help or response from meta, and having been passed around THREE times to THREE different people, I’m literally nowhere closer to getting this figured out. Every response I’ve received has been to inform me that SOMEONE ELSE is now filling in for whoever it was I was originally talking to and that they basically had NO updates for me but they were totally “working on it”. Now, they want me to give them the gift card number or pin for a disposable card that I’ve long since thrown away in order to help me further? This is entirely unacceptable and beyond frustrating. Can anybody tell me why meta is just stealing store credit from us and refusing to help?

We appreciate your patience and understanding, as we remember talking with you via PMs. To give you an update, we want you to know we went ahead and checked back in with your case and saw the support team was able to grant you those credits! We do our best to get things resolved as fast as possible. With that being said, we hope you are able to use those credits to your heart's desire! Have a great one!

I’m glad I got my credit back but I want to point out that it was only after I made this public post that I was FINALLY able to get some action done. After three weeks of pointless back and forth, and literally repeating myself and sending the same screenshots over and over again to different support specialists, all of a sudden it’s figured out a day after I posted here. If anybody else is having a problem like this in the future, I’d recommend posting here right away and saving yourself some grief.
