Hello everybody,
My configuration :
Asus A17 Ryzen 7 5800H - nVidia RTX 3070 - 32Gb RAM - 2.5 Tb SSD
Monitor 1 Philips 34" 21/9 on HDMI (reported on radeon Ryzen 7)
Monitor 2 IIyama 22" on DiplayPort via USB-C->DP (reported on nVidia RTX 3070)
Notebook panel closed, never used, disabled
Quest2 128Gb USB3
Here is the problem.
The monitor 1 in the helmet is always black. I see it as it size and ratio, but it's black
The monitor 2 is OK
I've tried lots of things seen on many formums I've read since almost 6 months, but they're not working. YES, I can have my monitor 2 work, by setting->Game->Graphics add a line to have OVRserver_x64.exe set to Power Saving.
With this trick i clearly see my 2 monitors in the helmet, but unfortunaly all the games I lanch from the desktop or from the Home library or even from Steam VR doesnt show up in the helmet, while they are up and avaiable on the monitor display.
nb: I can play, Project Cars 2, Automobilista 2, SW Squadrons Elite Dangerous à 72fps when launched from the desktop in "Oculus mode" before putting the helmet on my eyes.
Anyone has a real solution ?
It's not really pleasant having to leave/put the helmet each time you have to go to the desktop
Other questions, is there a way to have a virtual keyboard, whil in a VR Game ?

Hello,
My new computer seems to be the solution.
As I see in the nVidia control panel, all my 3 monitors (2 externals an the integrated one) are now directly connected to the nVidia card. So they are all showing in the Quest.
Now, I can put my controllers down after connect the oculus link and use my mouse in order to launch my PCVR games... It's a good thing.
Is ther a way to open monitors without controllers ?
regards

Hi @Alnitek, thank you for the information you have provided. We see you are having some issues that are interfering with your game play. We would love the chance to assist you with this matter. We're going to ask you to plug both monitors into a single GPU and then test from there. Please let us know what happens when you give this a go; we will be here for the results and proceed accordingly if needed. As for a way to have a virtual keyboard while gaming in VR, that would be per app and game details. If it is not included, we unfortunately do not have a way to access it. We look forward to your response and appreciate your patience.

Hi, thank you for the reply.
Sorry for the delay, but I was changing my computer.
At this time, I dont known if it will be posssible on the new PC (MSI Pulse B13VGK) to have both monitor on the same card (because laptops have integrated GPU beside nVidia dedicated GPU)
I'll be back as soon as my new computer will be ready to play, which is not the case.
