Multiple quest 2 issues. Please help.

1- For the last few days my headset (NOT my controllers) has been unable to connect to my controllers. It's had a popup that's said "is not responding" (it doesn't tell me what app, just that it isn't responding) with a icon that I can't identify.
2- It's battery life has suddenly gone down the drain, and it doesn't charge while in use anymore.
3- The Meta support website thinks it doesn't exist? I am ONE THOUSAND percent certain I typed the serial number correctly, I even used the QR code on the left arm to copy and paste it because it wouldn't show up and it still  isn't showing up.
Can I fix these issues? Or is it completely defunct, and I need to buy a new headset??
Edit- The controller problem started after it updated. No idea what update or how to check, but it was an update that broke them.

@MaArvelous  I'd sit tight and wait for the next update. meta's updates are at best ropey. Many people are reporting non existent devices and battery issues recently. And it's mostly pointless chatting to meta unsupport, as they're bots and have no real grasp of the products they're supposed to be supporting.
