My Instagram account is hacked using Meta horizon account.

The hacker has linked his meta horizon account to my Instagram and taken full admin control of shared accounts. I have no more details than just the mail address [REDACTED] of the meta horizon user. This has become an quite common issue from meta and I hope you have solution for this Also the username of Meta horizon showing in my insta is Vijayml, who currenhas access to my instagram account. Could you please temporarily/permanently unlink so that i can relink it with my own meta account. Also I am unable to reply to the private messages in the community forum of metaquest

I had to delete my instagram account since no-one could help me. This morning a third unauthorized person hacked my account and linked into the 2-step authenthication process . 

I am very concerned about the breach of confidentiality and privacy of Meta accounts. I lost the control of my private information and no-one could help.

Hello, thank you for the information! I have tried your solution, but I am unable to access Instagram at all. I managed to log into Facebook and removed the Instagram and WhatsApp Meta accounts when the hacking occurred, to prevent the hacker from accessing them. However, their email remains on my Facebook account, and I cannot remove it.

I created a new Facebook account and followed your steps, but I cannot link the new Facebook account to my Meta account. Instead, the page keeps redirecting me to add an Instagram account. When I try to do that, the codes are supposedly sent to a WhatsApp number, but I have no idea which number that is.

Additionally, I don’t have the option to make any of my contacts (email or phone) primary on Facebook, so I am unable to remove the hacker’s email address.

It seems the hacker didn’t compromise my Facebook directly but used it via my email address to access Instagram. As a result, I no longer have access to my Instagram account. Despite trying all the Help Center options, including video selfies and verification requests from friends, I still can’t regain access.

I keep receiving recovery codes at my original email address, but none of the codes seem to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The issue is still persisting. The instagram center does not connect me to the support nor there is a person human who can help me.

The hacker is still active and is sending links to other people from my friends list. More so, he asked me money to give back my account which he did not.

Please, help me recover my account back are the only contact and option I have left.

Man, at least they're replying to your messages. In my case, they've gone ahead and ghosted me completely. So I've just given up on my account. It's been five days since I lost access to my account, and I thought contacting meta support would be of some help since there was no productive output from having submitted one report to instragram from my second account, and writing to the grievances officer.
