My Meta Quest 2 Controllers spring for the grip button is broken. How do I fix that?

My grip buttons on both controllers are broken and i dont want to replace the controllers because they are quite expensive for me. Does anyone now a website where i can buy replacement parts from to fix that? Is there any chance i can repair it without buying anything?

Hey there, @Hanako! We recognize that you're having issues with your grip trigger sticking or not springing back. We understand how this experience isn't the best since controllers are a big part of our experience with our Meta Quest devices. We do have some troubleshooting steps that can possibly help you; please attempt the following:

  • Clean the controller
    • Compressed air can be used to remove any debris inside the controller
  • Remove unsupported third-party accessories that may affect button movement or controller detection. For example, controller covers, controller attachments, etc.
  • Remove the battery form the controller for 30 seconds. Try a new battery.
  • Unpair and pair the controller to the headset

Please let us know if these helped. We can't wait for your response!
