Hi everyone,
I'm facing a serious issue with my Meta Quest 2, and I'm looking for help from the community or alternative solutions, as I live in a country where there’s no official support or warranty for the Quest 2.
My Quest 2 is stuck in a bootloop, and I can't get it to boot correctly. Every time I power it on, it keeps restarting without getting past the Oculus/Meta boot screen. I've tried all the common solutions:
The only thing that’s worked so far is getting the device recognized in EDL mode (Emergency Download Mode), which might be a way to fix it, but I don’t have access to the tools or official firmware needed to flash the device via EDL.
Unfortunately, I live in a country where Meta/Oculus does not provide official support or warranty services, so sending the device in for repair is not an option for me. I’ve seen some posts on other forums mentioning that some users have been able to restore their devices through EDL by flashing the firmware, but I can’t find detailed instructions or the official files needed to do this safely.
I’d really appreciate any advice or help. I'm quite desperate at this point since the device is practically unusable, and I don't have access to official support options.
