Hello Yesterday I was updating my device after a few months, after updating it normally it asked me to update my controls so i did it, after a while the last one that was missing was the right one and after updating it it simply turned off and didn't turn on again. Please reply because I don't want to believe that my control is bricked or something and i want a solution.

Hello Thank you for responding to my problem, well it turns out today I was able to solve it, I had to leave it there without charging to see if it was on and it has to discharge and apparently that was the solution since today in the morning it revived and it already had the LED light that said it was discharged. Anyway, thank you for responding!

Hey there @987Dierdix123, we noticed you are having issues with your right Pro controller not turning on after an update. We know being unable to use the controller as intended can affect your ability to play in VR, and we understand the importance of getting your controller working again for you. We would love to do all that we can to assist you on this matter!

Since the controller isn't responding after the update, let's see if these troubleshooting step can reboot the controllers.

Power cycle the controllers:

  1. Try rebooting the controller by holding down the Oculus/Menu button until you see the lights change.
    • This usually takes about 20 seconds. You should feel the "powering down" haptics, followed by the "powering up" haptics before releasing the button.
  2. If still not working, press Oculus or Menu button to ensure the controller is awake and flashing S.O.S. on the LED. The S.O.S. mode will blink in white with the S.O.S. pattern (3 quick blinks, 3 slow blinks, 3 quick blinks).
  3. Restart the HMD via long-pressing the power button until the Power Menu comes up. Use the Gaze Cursor to select Reboot.

To factory reset the controller:

  1. Right Controller: Hold A and Oculus buttons until the LED begins flashing red/white.
Left Controller: Hold X and Menu buttons until the LED begins flashing red/white.
  2. Release the buttons immediately after the LED begins blinking red/white.
  3. Perform a manual pairing and check if controller LED would flash blue and white to signal pairing state.
  4. Once paired, controllers may take a while to update and stay unresponsive until they finish, and LED would be purple during the update.

We hope this information was helpful, and please let us know how this goes!

I am having the same issue and I just got these controllers on Friday and my right controller wont pair to my quest 2. I've even tried factory resetting.

Hello hello @987Dierdix123, we just popped back over here and saw that you're having issues with the Pro Controllers as well. Having issues after getting a product is not the intention we have for our customers, so we would love to provide you our assistance. We also understand how important getting this controller to work for you is, as it will allow you to play in VR.

So we see that you have already tried factory resetting the controller, let's see if hard rebooting your headset will help.

  1. Turn off your headset completely.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Boot Device and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

We also want to see if you can try out @987Dierdix123's solution to see if that can help you as well.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Hey there @ltlgaming.2022, have you had the opportunity to review the solution that worked for 987Dierdix123? If you are still having issues, and have gone through the normal steps of making sure the controller is unpaired before trying to re-pair the controller, we would love to look into this for you further! Just let us know.
