I always thought you could se tup two play areas for Quest, but I'm having problems doing this. I want one play area in my bedroom and one in my living room. Here's what I did. I chose to set up my own boundary and proceeded to set up my play area in the living room first. After doing this, I switched my headset off and moved to the bed. The headset then gave me a message asking me if I wanted to create a new boundary. I opted for yes even though when I moved my head, I could see the blue boundary of the living room play area I had set up.
After doing all this I then switched the headset off and back on when I moved to the living room to test it out. The problem is, I now get a message asking me if I want to create a new play area again. So, it hasn't remembered that I had set one up for the living room. I now find that I keep having to setup a new play area each time I move from one room to another. I thought Quest remembered play area's, or am I wrong about this?

Hi @Fazz 🙂
maybe you can find some helpful tips in that reddit thread

Hey hey @Fazz! Having issues like this with your boundary can really impact your VR experience, and I want to make sure you're able to get this figured out quickly. I have some good news for you here!
This was actually an issue with saved boundaries that was brought to our engineers very recently, and they they let us know that it's been resolved. They said that if you were impacted to restart your headset (fully power off, and then back on), and then your saved boundaries should be working properly again!
If you're still having issues with your boundaries after a restart, then I would suggest either sending a PM to @MetaQuestSupport or opening your own support ticket here.

Still didn't fix it after trying both of these methods, it's annoying to keep having to make play areas. I've just stopped using Quest3 as much. I just use it when I find time to use it in the living room until it's properly fixed. I also have a Pico 4 that has never had a problem doing this, so I use that in the bedroom until Meta fixes this properly.
