I've had an oculus go for a few years but in the last few months it keeps getting the three dots and had to buy new phone (samsung s20) to get the app to do a factory reset and it been happening more often so Saturday i bought a quest.
Nither will connect, both are factory reset but neither will connect to phone, the phone can detect them but no go. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app, charged devices, talked to meta - who will replace the quest, but I think if both don't work then something is wrong. I've seen to try clearing bluetooth cache but its greyed out on phone.
Yes I’m in the same situation. This meta app linking has been a nightmare. I have several older headsets (go and quest 1) that have been factory reset and dont pair with the app after doing all the install/uninstall meta app, clear bluetooth cache, primary account login, etc. They broke something on their software /app end with this whole app and hardware linking system.
