My college purchased many Quest headsets which requires a corporate account.

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a pressing issue we are facing with our recent acquisition of Oculus devices for our college WCCCD.edu.

Our institution has invested in a significant number of Oculus devices with the intention of enhancing our educational offerings through immersive virtual reality experiences. However, we have encountered an obstacle that requires urgent resolution: the necessity for a corporate account to fully utilize these devices.

Key Points:

  1. Immediate Need: The Oculus devices are intended to be integrated into our curriculum and other educational activities as soon as possible. Delays in account setup are impeding our progress and causing disruptions to our planned implementation timeline.

  2. Corporate Account Requirement: According to the setup guidelines, a corporate account is mandatory for the operation of these devices in an educational setting. Without this account, we are unable to access the full range of features and administrative controls necessary for their effective use.

We understand that technical and administrative processes can sometimes encounter unforeseen challenges, but the timely resolution of this issue is critical for us. Hey there, @VRwanie. We were in the area and saw that you needed some help. We'd be more than happy to assist you and, hopefully, the rest of your college in getting access to the Quest 2s. We suggest you attempt a factory reset on the headsets to see if that allows you to log in with a non-business account. If the headsets are still asking for a business account, just like @corriganogjournalis mentioned, you would have to have the person who ordered the headsets reach out to Meta for Work and submit a ticket. If there is anything else we can do to help, let us know!
