The Minimum CPU Specs for gift is Intel i3-6100 / AMD FX4350 or greater right? And even the Recommended CPU Specs is
Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater right? Which I am using Intel Xeon E3-1230v3 is a lot faster than them! But the program keep saying my CPU isn't meet the minimum specifications. Could you please Add some update CPU list on next software update? I hate the fxxking small window on my VR keep saying this but I am sure my CPU is fast enough! I think E3-1230v3 ~ i7-4790 non K.

I had an older i7 when I bought the Rift. The message didn't go away until I upgraded to an i7 Skylake cpu and new mobo. They should relabel the nag as "Your pc meets specs but we want you to buy a better one"

Yeah, the problem is that the software uses a compatibility list, rather than assessing your actual hardware. Less common hardware (for consumer PCs) like Xeon processors aren't on the whitelist, so they get flagged.

There was a method posted a while back to edit the list so you stop getting the message. I don't have a link handy, but Google can probably find it for you.

Being "faster" than the minimum spec might not provide the whole picture, though--in some cases, older CPUs are missing specific instruction sets or features that the software uses. Not saying that this is the situation for you, as obviously you've got the software up and running.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Thx. But I think My cpu is the same Generation with 4th Generation Core™ i5. Which Is faster than their Recommended CPU Specs Intel i5-4590 and "same or more specific instruction sets or features".And because Xeon is much cheaper than i7. (In China internet market "Taobao" E3 1230v3 ~ US$150-200 and i7-5770c ~ US$300.
