My face pad glasses spacer is faulty

Hi. I have only had my Quest 3 a couple of months and I am a glasses wearer. I use the glasses spacer when I use it and have it out all the way but when my family use it they move it back. It has now come loose on the right side and won't click in. On inspection I noticed a bit of metal had come loose. Am I right in thinking this is covered under the warranty I have with the Quest 3? I have tried to contact them but see no option regarding the facepad to get it replaced. I cant afford a new one but I dont see why I should have to replace it as it isn't my fault! Please advise someone. Thanks, Frank.
