Here is the rundown of all of my issues:
Controllers won’t pair; they are not dead. I changed the battery and cleaned the battery slots
The headset isn’t in “vr mode”; wherever I look, the screen follows, as if I had a phone taped to my face
When I try to reset it using the power and volume button, it won’t let me; when I let go of either the power or volume button, it kicks me back to the password screen where the first two issues keep repeating
Prior to this, my headset’s charging port melted a tad and it wouldn’t charge, so I had to fix it. I took every precaution, made sure I did it correctly. I am hoping I didn’t brick my system, but it seems as though that’s what happened. If anyone has any ideas, please say them. It would be greatly appreciated. I’m going to let my headset run out of battery and then charge it back up again and see if that works, though I don’t think it will help.

This has been a new issue; it started after I repaired the charging port and now I’m worried I bricked my headset.
Neither of the controllers have been damaged or mishandled, I try my best to take good car of them.
I have tried rebooting the headset, multiple times, but that hasn’t fixed any issues, unfortunately.

Let's give factory resetting the device a try. You can do so by following the steps provided here. Please make sure to enable your Meta cloud back up first to avoid this loss of any progress/data as well, by using the steps provided here.

I can’t enable cloud backup or factory rest my headset; my headset won’t allow me into the actual home to enable cloud backup, and I can’t do it from the app because I can’t sync the headset due to the same problem.
I also can’t factory reset it because whenever I get into that menu with the option to do so, whenever I let go of the volume or power button, I’m booted back to the password screen that I can’t get past.
