My headset isn't turning on

so i have taken out my quest 2 to charge but when I plugged it in all i got was a red light and after giving it time, changing the outlet, and charger it still wont turn on and the red light still percists after unplugging what should i do to fix this? I also i have a video showing what happens but Canot attach it to this poast

Hey @mercurydemon488! We know how discouraging it can be when your headset doesn't want to charge after some time away, so we'd be glad to lend a hand! 

In order to gain a bit more insight, could you answer the following:

  1. When was this first noticed?
  2. How long was the headset on the charger?
    • Note: We do suggest at least 2+ hours of charge to ensure there is power circuiting. 
  3. Have you tried any other charger cables, and connectors by chance?
    • If so, does the same issue happen?
  4. Is the LED flashing, or does the red light stay on consistently?
  5. Have you tried any other troubleshooting? If so, could you list them out to not repeat any steps.

As soon as we receive this information, we'll be able to check out some possible options.

I noticed it about a day before my post

it was charging for about 5 hours and the only difference it made was the red light turning slightly orange, i have tryed other chargers and the same problem occurred, the red light is constantly and persists after unplugging, every troubleshooting option that i have seen doesn’t work as it requires the headset to be on to work, and the headset is unresponsive to any action from the power button
